Welcome to Nadiyah's Flash Blog

Occasionally, I'll sit down and write little short snippets of what could someday turn into a longer story...or not. Either way, I thought, "Hey, why don't I post them so people can read them?" So, here they are. Uncut. Enjoy.

PS. The book I'm using is called, "500 Five-Minute Writing Exercises." I wrote it because I needed one like it. If you would like a copy, you can go HERE. You can also Follow nadiyahak on Twitter.

Night Wedding

Ex 202 Write an ending using: "I love the cold..."

It was a dark night. Clouds covered up the moon, leaving everyone in the park to rely on overhead artificial lights for guidance. I walked down between crowds of seated friends and family, carrying my exorbitantly overpriced bouquet of roses and tulips, and smiled. I smiled at Victor who stood at the alter waiting for me with his friends. I smiled at the priest who also seemed to be awaiting my arrival like the recipients of the Titanic. I smiled at my mother who cried tears of sadness. She would learn to be happy for me. She would see that not all vampires are bad. Mostly, I smiled for myself. God, I love the cold.
